As posted a couple of days ago, Marti's back and recovered.
This time, another Juan is in the hospital -

She came home from UST with a 39 degree fever the day before Marti was released. Three days later, she was asked for a bloodtest to check if her platelet level was below normal...and it was. Dad drove her straight to Cardinal Santos to be confined.
Don't worry, they haven't been asking for blood (at least not yet) for her but her platelet has been dropping too. Yesterday it was at 120, but this morning's CBC showed her count at 103. They already fumigated the entire house yesterday but we still can't help but think the mosquitoes that got them came from somewhere in our house. Sigh. Do keep praying for us, that Ate gets well soon, and that hopefully no other Juan gets bitten again.
